Instructions for saving ChartPilot Log Files

Please Save the Log File every day at 09:00 and at 21:00, otherwise log data will be overwritten. Mark the diskettes with the ship name and date.

Ask the Port Agent in every port to send the diskettes to PACMAR, c/o Rose Bray, Chamber of Shipping of British Columbia, 100-1111 West Hastings Street, Vancouver, B.C., V6E 2J3, Canada
 
 

Short Term recording function of Atlas Chartpilot

Saving the last short-term recording is done as follows:

Activate the "TREE" with a click of the mouse.

Select "Voyage recording" under the "Utilities" title bar.

A window will appear with titles: File – Display – Options

Click "File" - "Load Newest" - "Short Term Recording"

A message will be displayed asking, "Do you really want to switch to Replay mode? Acknowledge with "Yes"

Wait for the system to display the " V " on the screen.

Click "File" - "Store"

Enter a file name for the recording.

Click "File" – "Backup"

A new window is opened and a list of all stored voyage recording is shown on the left under "Files on Hard Disk" - Short term recordings

Select the desired stored file named above.

Click "Add Files>>"

Insert a blank formatted floppy into the disk drive. Two are probably necessary.

Click "Transfer"

The short-term recording is copied on to the Floppy disk.

Click Cancel, then "File" – "Exit"
