This question was asked by Capt. Grahame A. Burton, Vice President, Fleet Services Division, Princess Cruises. Capt. Burton suggested that the OOW be allowed to determine the composition of each form in his/her Display Preference Profile.
Capt. Cees Deelstra, Director, Nautical Operations and Wilkin Mes of Holland America Line-Westours, Inc. agreed with the proviso that from a liability point of view the selected target collision avoidance form should always dispaly certain fields, irrespecive of the preferences of the OOW.
